Happily Ever After

I have posted about this twice (first and second) before so I thought I’d make it a trilogy to complete the saga. Over the last eight months the number of ‘gritty’ fairy tale film adaptations announced has exploded, thus confirming my suspicions of a new trend in Hollywood. I’ve yet to see any of them so I cannot comment on quality but some upcoming productions - like Jack the Giant KiIller, starring Tony from Skins - certainly look intriguing.
